Mr. Lemieux has served as lead counsel in more than 200 IP cases for clients such as ASUS, Sony Computer Entertainment America, PINC Solutions, MediaTek, ChipMOS Technologies, Rohm, Olympus, Konami Digital Entertainment, Silicon Graphics, Sumitronics, IDT, Winbond, FIC, Pegatron, Sakata Seeds, and Royal Sluis, among others. Mr. Lemieux has tried more than 20 jury and non-jury trials in courtrooms nationwide, and has argued several successful appeals before the Federal Circuit. Mr. Lemieux has been recognized as a top patent litigation attorney in the IAM Patent 1000 every year since 2014, as a Northern California Super Lawyer every year since 2012, and by Chambers & Partners in their Global and Asia editions since 2010. Chambers notes that Mr. Lemieux is “particularly renowned for his patent [litigation] work and enjoys a fine reputation amongst clients in the software, semiconductor, retail, and consumer products arenas.” Mr. Lemieux has been described by The Legal 500 as a “leading litigator across a number of patent areas, particularly the high tech sectors emanating from Silicon Valley.” Mr. Lemieux has been recognized as a “Client Service All-Star” by General Counsels of the Fortune 1000 and in 2009 was selected to be a Fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society recognizing the top 5% of trial lawyers nationwide. Mr. Lemieux also serves as an Early Neutral Evaluator and Mediator for the United States District Court, Northern District of California, and has served as a Settlement Pro Tem in the Superior Court for Santa Clara County California. Mr. Lemieux taught Legal Writing and Research for several years at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Prior to co-founding Singularity, Mr. Lemieux was previously a Partner with Cooley LLP, one of the founding Partners for the Silicon Valley office of Paul Hastings LLP, and a Partner in the Palo Alto office of Squire Sanders LLP (formerly Graham & James LLP.) In addition to numerous district courts across the country, Mr. Lemieux is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
